We're mostly a Windows/.NET development shop, but VOIP and Asterisk software are a passion so we follow trends there too. One thing Asterisk really lacks is an "Operator" panel. It has a flash-based panel, but it does not work well for call transfers, etc., so we started looking for ideas to implement this sort of functionality. It turns out there is one great-looking option (WARNING: we haven't tested it): http://www.asteriskit.com.au/Page/The-Receptionist-Console#. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac and can redirect and transfer calls. Another one from the Asterisk mailing list is http://leebo.dreamhosters.com/images/guiApp.png and http://leebo.dreamhosters.com/images/maestro.jpg. This has not been release, and the screen shots were taken by the developer while in process but it looks promising!
